Sticking to our principles of using only natural ingredients, we produce a range of gluten free products which stand out by virtue of their taste and quality. As an added bonus the whole range is wheat free, dairy free and is suitable for vegetarians.
All Gluten, Wheat & Dairy free products are produced in a dedicated gluten, wheat and dairy free bakery to excellent standards. On a regular basis we test both ingredients and finished products to the lowest detectable levels of gluten, casein and lactose.
Several cakes have received nationally recognised food awards, including the tasty Gluten-free Ginger Cake, which outperformed conventional cakes to win the Gold Standard in the Guild of Fine Food Retailers Taste Awards in 2003 and the delicious Rich Fruit Cake Slices, which won the same Award in 2004.
All the products in the range have a distinctive use of ingredients which is in keeping with The Village bakery tradition and give further points of difference.
