This particular recipe should provide you with three cups of Chinese White Sauce. If you couldn’t consume all of it, you can put the leftovers in a Food Storage Container and they can last for up to two weeks in a normal or even Compact Refrigerator.
The Ingredients That Your Need
- Half a cup of finely chopped onions
- Three cups of clear vegetable stock
- Three tablespoons of corn flour
- One tablespoon of oil
- Two teaspoons of finely chopped ginger
- Two teaspoons of finely chopped garlic
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of Sugar

How to Prepare the Sauce
Start by mixing the corn flour and vegetable stock together using a deep mixing bowl (any of your available Mixing Bowl Sets will do the trick) and a wood spoon, then set them aside.
Secondly, set your Gas Cooktop to medium heat and, using a broad non-sticking pan, heat up the oil first, then add onion, ginger and garlic and sauté on a high flame for a minute.
Next comes the sauce. Add the mixture of corn flour and vegetable stock you made earlier into the sautéed onions, ginger and garlic. And according to your tastes, add a pinch of sugar and salt. Keep mixing it very well and letting it cook for five minutes on a high temperature. It is important to stir your sauce from time to time.
