If you like the leaf theme for the Fall season, why not do a little bit of leaf inspired baking. Baking during the Fall months, you will find it to be a lot of fun. To get started with your leaf stuffed cookies you will first want to take the cookie dough and roll it our a bit. Sprinkle a little bit of sugar on the rolled out cookie dough. Use the leaf shaped cookie cutters to cut out the leaves. Each cookie will need two leaves. As you cut out the leaves place them on a piece of wax paper. Once you have finished cutting out the leaves, you are ready to move on to the next step. Melt the stick of butter and gradually add in the confectionery sugar until the icing reaches the consistency that you would like. You can then add the food coloring to the leaves to give it a really nice Fall look. Use the paint brush to put some color onto the cookies.

Next you will want to take one piece of marshmallow in the center of the leaf cookie dough. You can really use any filling that you would really like. Seal the edges of the cookie by pushing them together with your fingers. The next step would be to place the cookies into the oven until they are golden brown on the top. Then you will have a very nice leaf stuffed cookie. Be sure to allow them to cool off before you eat them. There are really no specific measurements in this recipe so that you can adjust it exactly the way that you would like. Remember that the main idea is to have fun and make the cookies the way that your family wants them. Try using different fillings for the cookies to give it a unique and nice taste.
